Why are Bees a Good Thing?
Those little buzzing bees are doing more than just flying from flower to flower, harvesting nectar for honey. While they’re at work, they’re also pollinating. Pollinating might seem like a small act, but the sum of pollination provides much of our food sources today.
In fact, a third of the foods we eat every single day depend upon pollination. While there are other creatures able to pollinate, bees are the main ones.
Without bees, we’d no longer have honey. Cows would no longer have their favorite foods, and they would die. Many fruits and vegetable would go extinct. While bees are tiny, they are crucial to the food chain!
